As part of Machine Zone's innovation team I partnered with cross-functional stakeholders to design ultra-low latency data platforms and apps.
Overview
I worked closely with product and engineering leads to bridge technical barriers as they came up in the development process. This was a fast-paced design-build-iterate team to refine and meet product goals and deliver to clients.
My Role
• Drive all phases of UI/UX feature design end-to-end
• Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and rapid prototypes
• Collaborate with engineering to break through technical barriers
• Evolve and establish visual design system
• Test and work with partner teams to refine experiences
• Develop specs and documentation
Satori Chat App
As lead UX/UI designer, I defined the user journey, established the visual style, and created an engaging experience featuring real-time data chat bots. I worked in close collaboration with PMs through strategy, research, wireframes, and implementation to build a chat app leveraging Machine Zone's real-time technology providing a sophisticated app experience.
Fleet Management Dashboard
My role as this feature's UX designer was to address several challenges in the first time user flow such as syncing operation centers with fleets, route detection for individual assets, billing and defining the overall user experience. I partnered with the engineering team in the development phase to build, add refinements with each iteration and help meet project goals successfully.
Accident Detection
Working in partnership with computer vision engineers was critical to development of this feature. My role as this feature's UX designer was to research current video detection trends and suggest useful features to integrate into the platform in addition to defining the user experience.

The goal of this project was to help build a responsive web site to launch Machine Zone's open-source platform - Satori. The site functioned as a primary brand touchpoint to engage users at the top of the customer funnel. The primary goal was to help engage developers with Satori's open-source platform real-time applications.
